Very Vivid Dream...so real I felt like I could pick up the phone and call Bull....

So maybe this is to personal but hey it's my blog so I'm writing it. I just woke up from this crazy dream and my brother Bull was in it. As many of you know Bull died last year in late July. I've been thinking about him a lot lately and just now the dream I had was so real I felt like calling him when I woke up then realized I couldn't! :( He and I had talked shortly before he died but it was a quick phone call, but one I'll never forget. I loved listening to his southern accent and you could hear his charm and wittyness even over the phone. I love you Bull. Dakota looked up to you bud :)

A Tribute to my Girl....

As you all know I broke my ankle on June 17th...and we're still dealing with issues regarding the ankle, the blood clot and the fact that I can't get up and do much at all.
This entry is solely to THANK my loving wife. Valerie has been amazingly supportive throughout the past eight weeks. The girl has had to cook, clean, do the laundry, keep the kids schedules, walk the dogs all the time alone, giving me shots in the stomach twice a day and...deal with ME*which we all know can be difficult at time to say the least. I appreciate Valerie for all she does for the kids and I.
We laughed when it first happened because people would say "oh my gosh, if anything this will "test" your marriage!" Well...here we are eight weeks later and every night she still takes care of me. That's not to say it's been all peachy everyday but for goodness sake she has been my trooper.
My Uncle John teased her the day we got married and said "ya know Valerie, this comes with a NRP!" Valerie and I looked at each other having no idea what he was talking about...so the explanation was "once you marry her there is a NO RETURN POLICY regarding Kealey". LOL Guess she took him seriously because of all the times she could have "returned" me now would be the time but she hasn't so...off we go to enjoy the rest of our lives. Broken ankle and all.

Can you guess where we were???

Jack loves going to Aunt Katie and Maurices. Of course, he loves them but he really loves...vessels. They live on a beautiful island and vessels go by day and night. Aunt Kate and Maurice have a new tradition of "Chasing" the vessels down to the locks with Jack. He spots one, they race down to the locks and watch...They even got me to go down one day. Crutches and all. That was a sight I'm sure.
Thank God we have them in our lives :)

Jack is a real construction worker now

This weekend we went to Massena, NY to visit my Aunt Katie and Maurice. Throughout the weekend Jack got to see vessels pass by their house along with up close and personal interactions with the neighbors construction worker. Jack just had his first experience driving a backhoe (I'm sure that's not the correct name)and a steam shovel. Check it out. Wish you could have felt his energy, his smile was stuck in place ear to ear. This was the best weekend he and I have had since I broke my ankle. I love going "home" to my Aunt Kate and Maurice, life doesn't get better than going home to their island life

Making the Cake....

I just got home from a great weekend at Jessie and Jerry's. Jessie and I made this Diaper cake for our cousins baby. Only about 75 Pampers Swaddlers went into this thing. I LOVED making it, and hope I can make many more. Let me know if you need one.

LONG long time....

and I haven't posted. Can you believe it? Sorry everyone. Well, I'm back so enough of that. And I'm back with some exciting news.
I am now an official Stampin Up Independent demonstrator. YEA ME. Now I will be offering classes, workshops and special events. I will also be taking custom orders for cards, party favors, announcements and most anything you can think of.
I'll post pics as soon as I get back home. Right now, I'm sitting at my Mother in laws. We just finished a bunch of her yard work and had a yummy spaghetti dinner.
The boys are doing great. Jack is of course enjoying Soccer season (indoor for now, soon we'll be back outside) and Dakota is full force into lacrosse.
Last night Valerie and I took Dakota and my brother John to the Roller Derby in Essex. We all had a blast. Of course, it helped having a beer garden near by. LOL

Catch ya later.

Oh ya before I go I'm counting the days before my big trip out to Convention with Stampin Up in July. It'll be hotter than you know what in Utah but i'm soo ready.
